We're taking a hiatus...
Well 2009 has come and gone in a blur! It was a crazy, busy year and we can't believe how fast it has come to a close. We thank all of our wonderful customers for the business over the last few years. We had more clients than we ever dreamed!
We have decided that we are going to take a hiatus of sorts. After looking back over the past year we realized how many things we missed with our families and it saddened us since our 5 little ones are our greatest calling in life. We debated what to do with our business so that we can pare it down. We are choosing to only accept our specialty sessions until further notice, which are infants 10 days and younger and smash the cake 1st birthdays. These sessions are also going to be on location only. This is a blessing to new parents so that they don't have to get their precious bundle out and drive down to see us. We will still be capturing the shots that we love...the hanging babies, scale portraits, etc. Scheduling for these sessions is the same as always, contact us while pregnant so we can mark it on our calendars.
So this is our bittersweet goodbye. We're sad that we won't see many of you much more. But we're very content knowing this is God's will at this point in our lives and that our kiddos will be much happier seeing their Mommies more!
You can still keep up with us on facebook and on the blog since we will still be accepting infants and 1st birthday sessions. Also, by being on facebook you will be the first to know if we choose to open up a few extra sessions for families, kids, etc, throughout the year.

Don't think of it as paring down, think of it as focusing your talents on a specialty area that currently is underserved in the marketplace, and then just see where it takes you. The advantage of having your own business is that you can adapt it to meet your personal needs. I know you all will do well, in whatever you do.
Oh Janet, we love you. Thank you for your words of encouragement. You are such a blessing to our lives.
