This beautiful baby is 4 days old... we hit the baby boom this week. This is baby #2 we've done this week thats been just a few days old. We LOVE our babies!!!

This is also her very active big brother! We just think he is so adorable! We had so much fun with this shoot and got some great images! And yes... before you ask- I am in a black and white mood tonight! I promise you will have images in color in your finished album :) Thank you for letting us be a part of your first days home!

Miss Leyland

Look how adorable this little girl is with her cute little bleach blond curls! She even brought in her kitty cat.. Sam! We had so much fun with this one, Sam was my big helper... after all- its a lot more fun smiling for something that purrs rather than smiling for a stiff black box! Our Signature Gets a Whole New Look!

Ok... so after much debate about our signature, which is printed on the bottom of every photo we print, we decided to do away with it and simply stamp the back of all the photos. Upon delivering photos to several different customers without the signature printed, they were actually quite upset that the signature was missing! So, due to requests made by our customers, we are back to printing the signature again on the bottom of each photo. However, we have given it a whole new look! We are very excited about it, as it is beautiful. So now it is gold and has quite a bit of embossing to it! This way it will look good no matter what color your background is (white, black, or anything in between), so now the signature on all your photos will be exactly the same! Also, we have replaced "photography" with (C) '08. We did this because we think it's neat to go back years later and remember which year the photo was taken, so you can remember your child's age, etc.! We hope you like the new changes! I've attached an example, and I've put it on a mixed white and black template so that you can see how it looks on both backgrounds.

Meet Miss Barrett

Isn't she beautiful?! She was born just a few days ago- and she is absolutely gorgeous. We had so much fun with this sitting. Her parents were great sports, letting us have free reign and get all the shoots we wanted! We captured some absolutely priceless images- I couldn't narrow it down any further! The bonnet was made by her Great Aunt and is well over 100 years old, and the whole family is into blue grass, so the instruments are family heirlooms and are getting up there in age themselves :) Enjoy this sneak peak... there are tons more to come in your album!

Trash The Dress!

For those of you who don't know, we offer a "Trash the Dress" session as an extra option for our wedding coverage. As we have several weddings coming up and also several people who don't know what a "Trash the Dress" session is, we decided to post a few examples! This session takes place after the wedding, but before you send the dress to the dry cleaners for preservation. We go on location (into a field, the water fall, downtown, etc), and get some beautiful images in beautiful scenes. While yes, the dress will get dirty, it will not really get "trashed", nothing the dry cleaners can't handle! So we enlisted our models! You can see the entire album under "Trash the Dress" in not only our Gallery, but also our Proofs page! And for those brides we have coming up... hopefully this will give you an idea and build some excitement!

Christmas Deadline!

I know what you're thinking.. "You've got to be joking, it's still summer!" But we are booking up super fast! The deadline to have Christmas photos taken and back in time to give for presents is November 26th. This will give the lab and the post office time to get them to us. If you want to send out Christmas cards we offer those too. If you want to send out cards 1 week before Christmas then we recommend scheduling your appointment one week before the 26th. So time is moving fast! We're already completely full in October and November is starting to fill up. Since we're having a booth at the Ozark Craft Fair and Persimmon Days in Sparta we know we'll be super busy! So email us today to schedule your sessions. And remember that our gallery wraps or photo statues would be awesome gifts for Christmas! We also offer gift certificates!
Santa will also be visiting our studio this year! Details and examples coming soon!

Jemma- Don't Kill Me!

Ok, so Jemma and I were testing out a new techinique- and in my personal opinion- they turned out AWESOME! So, although we usually don't post pictures of ourselves, sorry Jemma, I just had to post these :) These are taken at sunset, so now that the sun is going down earlier now... we may just have to do these with more customers!

Another baby Shot

Yes, I know... Essa AGAIN. There are just some things that you HAVE to post, and this is one of them. This cradle was built by Essa's (well... all the kid's for that matter) Great-Great Grandfather. Every child in every generation since has slept in this cradle, so when a new baby is born, we pass it around. Its about to have to go back to our Grandparents (they keep it between circulations), so I had to get some pictures of it! Isn't it beautiful?! For now we are using it as a photo prop, so you might see it used on some newborns coming up real soon! I just think it makes for a gorgeous picture! Enjoy :)

These girls are too cute! They kicked off our Grandparents Special which premiered yesterday, so they will be receiving a free photo candle for their Grandparents! For those of you still interested... we still have a couple slots left- but you better get in quick, the special is for this week only! We had a blast... these 2 cutie pies showed up ready and anxious to get started- they were posing before I was even ready for them!

Oh my goodness- this shoot was so much fun! These girls were absolutely gorgeous and their parents were so easy going and relaxed! Their Dad is in the Army, so I adore this Army shot. Meet Ashlynn

You might remember this family from their maternity shoot just a few weeks back. Well, I'm happy to announce that they had their baby! So just baby Ashlynn being only a few days old, we were able to capture some beautiful images for them! I was also able to use her to showcase some of our new fall props (I know, I know.. already gearing up for fall. I can't help it- it's our favorite time of year!)

Essa

I adore these pictures. They were taken with her Great-Grandpa's hat. He went home to be with the Lord back in March, so these pictures with his hat mean a lot to me. Enjoy :)
